Seaman Saulo Nogueravega of Revere, Mass., assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 27, drills holes in shelving support braces that will be used for the medical facility at a remote Marine Outpost. The Seabees are at the outpost conducting construction operations to improve the quality of life for the Marines assigned to the area. The Seabees of NMCB-27, also known as the 'Skibees" are deployed to Iraq and other areas of operation in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom. The tasking of the Seabees is to conduct construction projects and help improve the living conditions for the Marines and other units operating in the al-Anbar province.
