Gov. Ma'amoon Sami Rashim Alawi, al-Anbar's provincial governor and Maj. Gen. Murthi Mush'hen Almhalawi, commanding general, al-Anbar Iraqi security forces, sign a Command and Control Memorandum of Understanding accepting control of security at the Provincial Governance Center in Ramadi, Iraq, Aug. 26, 2008. Gov. Ma'amoon and Maj. Gen. Murthi signed the document in preparation for total Provincial Iraqi Control scheduled for the near future.
