Staff Sgt. Jason Kennedy, a section leader from Watervliet, Mich., assigned to White Platoon, 7th Squadron, 10th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, Multi-National Division - Baghdad, leads point on a combined patrol, Aug. 15, 2008, with Iraqi police from the Abu T'shir patrol base located off Abu T'shir's Market Street in the Rashid District of southern Baghdad. Soldiers of Troop C conduct combined operations with Iraqi IPs and national police in Abu T'shir during every mission and security patrol in sector as part of ongoing operations to transition Iraqi security forces into the lead.
