Navy Closure Task Force-Red Hill contractors closely monitor the draining of aqueous film-forming foam (AFFF) concentrate from a pipe inside the Red Hill Bulk Fuel Storage Facility (RHBFSF), April 8, 2024. Over 1,000 gallons of AFFF concentrate were safely drained from the AFFF system once the operation was completed, and will soon be removed from the facility, thus removing a major threat to the aquifer.
