The remembrance of the tragedy that occurred on March 16, 1968, “My Lai, 50 Years Later,” is hosted by LTG Charles N. Pede, The Judge Advocate General and Mr. Charles R. Bowery Jr., Chief of Military History, in partnership with the Center for the Army Profession and Ethic. The event will feature distinguished panelists that will discuss the historical, ethical and legal impact of the My Lai Massacre, lessons learned, and how the Army responded to reduce the potential for similar acts in the future. General Mark A. Milley, Chief of Staff of the Army, is the Keynote Speaker for this event.
