Students learn how to 02:13.521 --> 02:15.577 repair the metal body of an aircraft 02:15.577 --> 02:17.799 that is scratched , cracked , dented or 02:17.799 --> 02:19.854 damaged by corrosion . By the end of 02:19.854 --> 02:22.021 the AM T course , students are able to 02:22.021 --> 02:24.188 cut out the damaged area , fabricate a 02:24.188 --> 02:26.132 patch of the same shape , size and 02:26.132 --> 02:28.132 thickness and secure the patch with 02:28.132 --> 02:30.077 rivets . What we're doing is we're 02:30.077 --> 02:32.188 creating a simulation of the aircraft 02:32.188 --> 02:34.354 body and then adding damage to it . So 02:34.354 --> 02:36.299 that way they can get practice for 02:36.299 --> 02:38.299 removing the damage , replacing the 02:38.299 --> 02:40.690 part that has been damaged and then 02:40.699 --> 02:43.110 repairing it .
