It's 00:30.353 --> 00:32.520 good to celebrate the people that give 00:32.520 --> 00:34.742 back to their community and that , uh , 00:34.742 --> 00:36.965 you know , defend the rights and things 00:36.965 --> 00:38.965 that we've worked for as a nation . 00:40.810 --> 00:43.470 Uh Veterans Day is about , um honoring 00:43.479 --> 00:45.689 legacy . So it's about those who are 00:45.700 --> 00:47.756 currently serving around the world , 00:47.756 --> 00:50.099 which we still have many , uh , men and 00:50.110 --> 00:52.959 women who are in harm's way . Um But 00:52.970 --> 00:54.859 also the legacy of those who have 00:54.859 --> 00:57.040 served right since the second 00:57.049 --> 00:59.830 Continental Congress and army to right 00:59.840 --> 01:02.007 now and to our future generations that 01:02.007 --> 01:04.229 are going to serve , there's no greater 01:04.229 --> 01:06.173 country than the United States and 01:06.173 --> 01:08.173 there's no better job as far as I'm 01:08.173 --> 01:10.340 concerned . But it is to serve it . So 01:10.340 --> 01:12.673 I celebrate it with my daughters . So I , 01:12.673 --> 01:12.319 you know , not only does Liberty 01:12.330 --> 01:14.330 Elementary School have this awesome 01:14.330 --> 01:16.552 concert but Freedom Intermediate School 01:16.552 --> 01:18.608 has a breakfast every year for , for 01:18.608 --> 01:20.830 veterans . So parents of students and I 01:20.830 --> 01:22.997 usually celebrate it those two ways in 01:22.997 --> 01:25.375 the morning . Um And then after that , 01:25.385 --> 01:27.724 it's we have awesome community partners 01:27.735 --> 01:29.846 that usually give free meals . And so 01:29.846 --> 01:32.013 we , I go and do that with my wife and 01:32.013 --> 01:34.013 then just spend the rest of the day 01:34.013 --> 01:36.235 enjoying family time . It's an honor to 01:36.235 --> 01:38.457 serve . And I will always remember this 01:38.457 --> 01:40.457 was the best thing I could do in my 01:40.457 --> 01:42.679 life . And so I feel very privileged to 01:42.679 --> 01:44.513 continue to wear the uniform and 01:44.513 --> 01:48.089 support our United States Veterans Day 01:48.099 --> 01:49.932 has always been a big deal in my 01:49.932 --> 01:51.766 household . Growing up , both my 01:51.766 --> 01:53.932 parents are retired Air force and both 01:53.932 --> 01:55.932 my older siblings spent time in the 01:55.932 --> 01:58.043 services as well . And so it's always 01:58.043 --> 01:59.988 been a big deal to celebrate . And 01:59.988 --> 01:59.949 thank everyone that I see wearing 01:59.959 --> 02:02.070 veterans hat out there . So thank you 02:02.070 --> 02:04.181 for your service . We normally have a 02:04.181 --> 02:06.348 family cookout .
