U.S. Marines with the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit conduct a simulated non-combatant evacuation operation exercise as part of the MEU’s certification exercise on Marine Corps Outlying Landing Field Atlantic, North Carolina, Feb. 24, 2026. CERTEX is a land-based pre-deployment exercise that enhances the integration and collective capability of the Marine Air-Ground Task Force while providing the 24th MEU with an opportunity to train and execute operations in austere and urban environments.
