U.S. Coast Guardsmen with the tactical delivery team, Maritime Security Response Team-East, conduct simulated approaches and live-fire drills on Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point waterways, North Carolina, Feb. 17, 18, and 26, 2026. Over a two-week period, MSRT- E utilized MCAS Cherry Point’s training areas which provided them with the ideal environment to conduct realistic, mission-critical training, enabling a force that is capable of responding to counterterrorism to safeguard U.S. waters in support of Homeland Security.
