U.S. Marines with Marine Aerial Refueler Transport Squadron 352 (VMGR), Marine Aircraft Group 11, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, load an M142 High Mobility Artillery Rocket System assigned to 1st Battalion, 11th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division during a HIMARS rapid infiltration at Marine Corps Air Station Camp Pendleton, Jan. 23, 2026. The HIRAIN helped maintain mission readiness by simulating a mock scenario of identifying a target, seizing key terrain, inserting HIMARS, assisting in destroying the target and returning back to secure the location.
