U.S. Army and Royal Australian Artillery Soldiers participate in an Expert Physical Fitness Assessment at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii, as part of the Indo-Pacific Best Redleg Competition, Jan. 21, 2026. The EPFA is a demanding, combat-focused U.S. Army fitness test consisting of 8 events to be completed in 30 minutes: 1 Mile Run, 30 Dead Stop Push-ups, 100-Meter Sprint, 16 Sandbag Lifts, 50-Meter Water Can Carry, 25-Meter High Crawl, 25-Meter 3-5 Second Rush, and another 1 Mile Run.
