U.S. Marines with 3rd Littoral Anti-Air Battalion, 3rd Marine Littoral Regiment, 3rd Marine Division, and Employees with Naval Air Warfare Center China Lake conduct a counter-unmanned aerial systems exercise during Assault Support Tactics 1 as part of Weapons and Tactics Instructor course 1-26 near Chocolate Mountains Aerial Gunnery Range, California, Oct. 13, 2025. AST-1 is a daytime, force-on-force event which affords prospective weapons and tactics instructors the opportunity to plan, brief, and execute a company-reinforced air assault while integrating the six functions of Marine Aviation.
