Soldiers with the 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division, turn in outdated gear for modernized equipment during the validation of the Rapid Removal and Modernization of Organizational Clothing and Individual Equipment (R2MO) program at Fort Bliss, Texas, earlier this month.
The brigade was the first unit selected to test the R2MO concept, an initiative designed to improve Soldier and unit readiness by updating equipment across the force. If successful, the process validated at Fort Bliss could be implemented Army-wide.
