Camp Rosenbaum returned once again to Camp Rilea in Warrenton, Ore. this past July. The unique summer camp with a more than 50-year history, brings together kids from low-income communities for a week of summer activities and mentorship. The camp is a collaborative effort between the Portland Police Bureau, the Oregon National Guard, and Home Forward. It's designed to teach kids vital life skills and the importance of good citizenship through fun, engaging themes. The camp's mission is to provide the "best week of their lives" and show them that there are people from all walks of life invested in their success. Video includes interviews with U.S. Air Force Col. Brain Kroeller, and Clark Country Police Officer, Chris Skidmore. (Video by U.S. Air Force Tech. Sgt. Alexander Frank)
