U.S. Soldiers with 101st Division Sustainment Brigade, assigned to Joint Task Force-Southern Border (JTF-SB), conduct sling load operations near Lajitas, Texas, on Aug. 6, 2025. Soldiers executed a sling load operation to deliver communication equipment for U.S. Border Patrol, in order to improve operations and connectivity in remote areas. JTF-SB executes full-scale, agile, and all-domain operations in support of U.S. Customs and Border Protection to protect the territorial integrity of the United States and achieve 100% operational control of the southern border.
