The newest crop of Afghan National Police graduated a six-week basic training course July 29 at Camp Shaheen, Afghanistan. American and German ANP mentors watched as 129 former students accepted their certificates of completion and left the ceremony ready to implement the skills they learned to protect citizens and build security within their districts. New recruits are tested in areas of marksmanship, rule of law, drug awareness and investigation, as well as basic security and riot control. Videographer/Editor: USAF Staff Sgt. Michael Brady, RC-North Public Affairs Advisory Team.
