The Fort Bliss Milam Child Development Center provides a structured and safe environment essential for learning social skills along with emotional and cognitive development. This center is one of five nationally accredited child care facilities on Fort Bliss, equipped with highly motivated and expertly trained staff members.
Milam Facility Director Mona Lisa Engdall, Child and Youth Services Program Assistant Lead, Nikki Cabrales, Child and Youth Program Assistant, Sydney Adams, a parent, Lisa Montelongo, and Fort Bliss Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation Director Roberto "Chico" Medina sat with Fort Bliss Garrison Public Affairs' Crista Mack to discuss the benefits of these child development centers and how they are essential in enabling readiness and resilience for a globally responsive Army.
