After beginning their journey at Cadet Summer Training a week ago, 1st Regiment, Basic Camp Cadets have arrived at Beaudoin Obstacle Course on Fort Knox, Ky,. July 10, 2025.
While some may come from a family background rooted in service, others are first-generation Cadets with no prior experience in military life. Cadet Ryan Ohannessian, Santa Clara University, is one of these Cadets. As the first in his family of immigrants to wear the uniform, Ohannessian feels immense pride in serving the country that has given his family everything.
