The 250th U.S. Army Birthday ruck march is kicked off with a speech conducted by U.S. Army Lt. Col. David Hartshorn, Camp Roberts Deputy Commander, to commemorate the legacy of the U.S. Army at Camp Roberts, Calif., May 7, 2025. Soldiers from the California Army National Guard, Army Reserve, active duty, and civilians marched in segments along the 250 mile route to Camp Parks in Dublin while carrying the U.S. flag, the Army colors, and a binder with over 500,000 names of fallen service members.
