Since its dedication on April 30, 1998, the statue of Gen. George C. Marshall has stood outside the Marshall Center in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, serving as a lasting tribute to the institution’s namesake.
This short film, a recently unearthed production from the Marshall Center's archives, documents the statue’s creation by local Bavarian artist Christiane Horn.
