The family toured the iconic David Taylor Model Basin, the Maneuvering and Seakeeping Basin, and more, gaining a deeper understanding of their great-grandfather's lasting impact on the Navy’s research and development. Highlights included viewing historical artifacts such as Rear Adm. Taylor’s desk and handwritten notes, and hearing from curators Dana Wegner and Jennifer Marland about his contributions.
