U.S. Marines execute a live-fire range during Thunder Field Training Exercise at the Central Training Area, Okinawa, Japan, April 5, 2024. The purpose of this range was to properly train and evaluate Marines from Headquarters Company on the annual Table 3-6 evolution, required by the Marine Corps Combat Marksmanship Program. Thunder FTX is a field training exercise aimed to increase Marines proficiency in basic warfighting skills and strategies. The Marines are with 12th Marine Littoral Regiment, 3d Marine Division.
