Col. Dustin Richards assumed the role of 88th Air Base Wing and installation commander during a ceremony on April 9, 2024 at the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force in Dayton, Ohio.
Col. Richards, a career civil engineer, comes to Wright-Patterson Air Force Base from Washington, where he was the senior military assistant in the Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Energy, Installations and Environment.
Assuming wing command was a longtime goal and he appreciates the importance of the wing’s Airmen, Richards told the audience. (U.S. Air Force video by Jeffery Harris, Austin Smith, Chris Decker, Hannah Carranza, and SrA Jack Gardner)
