Reed Foster, a horizontal construction engineer with Bravo “Bad” Company, 9th Brigade Engineer Battalion, 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division with NATO’s enhanced Forward Presence Battle Group Poland, talks about the importance of his job at Bemowo Piskie Training Area, Poland, April 4, 2024. Foster was one of the noncommissioned officers who helped restore a trench system to help NATO troops train and overcome any adversary during a large-scale combat operation. The 3rd Infantry Division's mission in Europe is to engage in multinational training and exercises across the continent, working alongside NATO allies and regional security partners to provide combat-credible forces to V Corps, America’s forward-deployed corps in Europe.
