U.S. Marines with Combat Logistics Battalion 31, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, and soldiers with the Amphibious Rapid Deployment Brigade Logistic Battalion, Japan Ground Self-Defense Force, conduct bilateral convoy training for Iron Fist 24, at Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan, Feb. 29, 2024. Bilateral training tests readiness and ability to respond to crises in challenging and time-sensitive conditions. Iron Fist is an annual bilateral exercise designed to increase interoperability and strengthen the relationships between the U.S. Marine Corps, the U.S. Navy, the JGSDF, and the Japanese Maritime Self-Defense Force.
