North Wind 2024 is a bilateral cold-weather field training exercise that was held Jan. 22-31 in Chitose, Japan between the Japanese Ground Self-Defense Force Northern Army and U.S. Paratroopers with 1st Battalion, 501st Parachute Regiment, 2nd Infantry Brigade, 11th Airborne Division. This video shows many of the events that took place during the exercise, including marching on skis, skijoring, live fires on multiple weapon systems, Tactical Combat Casualty Care, mine emplacement training, and more!
