On November 1st, USSF Sgt. Daryl Griffin was awarded the 2023 Mayor’s Young Leader, Military Leaders category by the Mayor of Colorado Springs!
He was recognized for his significant contributions as a leader serving Colorado Springs through his work and volunteerism. Specifically, his volunteer work as a wildland firefighter, high school football coach, his work leading a pregnancy drive for 170K local families, and mentoring a JROTC program.
Sgt. Griffin is the NCOIC of student management for the 8th Combat Training Squadron.
