U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Memphis District recently completed renovating Galveston District's Marine Building 1 in Galveston, Texas, Aug. 28, 2023. Now, the Galveston District Maintenance Section has a new building to perform maintenance on vessels used to do minor maintenance and repairs on dredge placement areas in the Houston and Galveston areas.
