Soldiers and family members gathered June 8, 2023 at Caserma Ederle in Vicenza, Italy, for the U.S. Army 1st Battalion, 503rd Parachute Infantry Regiment, 173rd Airborne Brigade Battalion Change of Command Ceremony, of incoming Lt. Col. Joseph R. Branch and outgoing Lt. Col. Brian R. Miletich.
The 173rd Airborne Brigade is the U.S. Army Contingency Response Force in Europe, capable of projecting ready forces anywhere in the U.S. European, Africa or Central Commands' areas of responsibility.
