U.S. Air Force and civilian firefighters assigned to the 169th Civil Engineer Squadron at McEntire Joint National Guard Base and the 628th Civil Engineer Fire and Emergency Service Department at Joint Base Charleston, train for a live building fire at the North Charleston fire training facility, North Charleston, South Carolina, May 3, 2023. Live fire training is an annual requirement for the McEntire JNGB firefighters which keeps the firefighters familiar with tactics, techniques and procedures to respond should a real-world scenario occur.
