The 909th Air Refueling Squadron refuels Japanese Air Self-Defense Force F-15Js and 391st F-15E Strike Eagles in support of Exercise Southern Beach on Kadena Air Base, Japan, 16 May, 2023. Southern Beach is a locally organized bilateral training exercise that enhances interoperability through the opportunity for 18th Wing and JASDF units to practice mission planning, flying and debriefing together.
The 909th ARS supported the exercise through the execution of unmatched air refueling, aeromedical evacuation, and combat support during global contingencies and peacetime of professional combat-ready Airmen and partners. (U.S. Air Force video by Senior Airman Gary Hilton)
