A performance of a Haka, Ka Mate by members of the Misawa community. Traditionally, the Māori people of New Zealand performed haka to display a tribe's pride, strength and unity. Children often begin learning haka as early as three years old. Today, haka is commonly performed prior to sporting events, such as rugby matches.
