U.S. Soldiers assigned to the 1st Infantry Division (1 ID) and 4th Infantry Division (4 ID), alongside Latvian army soldiers assigned to the Mechanized Infantry Brigade were joined by special guests to the 1 ID, 4 ID Transfer of Authority in Adazi, Latvia, Feb. 3, 2023. The 1 ID and 4 ID are proudly working alongside NATO allies and regional security partners to provide combat-credible forces to V Corps, America's forward deployed corps in Europe.
