Soldiers assigned to U.S. Army Southern European Task Force, Africa (SETAF-AF), conduct an Army Combat Fitness Test (ACFT) on Caserma Del Din, Vicenza, Italy, Jan. 24, 2023. The ACFT provides the Army an assessment of all Soldiers’ muscular strength, endurance, power, speed, agility, coordination, flexibility, and balance. It was designed to better reflect the stresses of a combat environment, to address the poor physical fitness of recruits, and reduce the risk of musculoskeletal injuries for service members.
