U.S. Space Forces-Korea officially activated at Osan Air Base today. Gen. Paul LaCamera, commander, United Nations Command / Combined Forces Command / U.S. Forces Korea (USFK), presided over the ceremony and welcomed U.S. Space Force Lt. Col. Joshua McCullion, U.S. Space Forces Korea (USSFK) inaugural commander as USFK’s newest component command to the Korean peninsula. The newly activated USSFK will coordinate space operations and services such as missile warning, position navigation and timing, and satellite communications within the region.
