(Nov. 22, 2022) Santa Claus and Soldiers and Airmen of the Alaska National Guard spread holiday cheer to children and their families in Minto, Alaska during Operation Santa Claus. Operation Santa Claus is the Alaska National Guard’s yearly community relations and support program that provides gifts to children in remote communities across the state. In its 67th year, the operation delivered 650 pounds of gifts, backpacks, hygiene supplies and books to 65 children in Minto.
