U.S. Marines with Marine Fighter Attack Squadron (VMFA) 312 prepare F/A-18 Hornet fighter jets for takeoff at Łask Air Base, Poland, May 4, 2022. 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing (MAW) units deployed to enhance NATO's capabilities in Eastern Europe at the invitation of the host nation. VMFA-312 is a subordinate unit of 2nd MAW, the aviation combat element of II Marine Expeditionary Force.
