The 229th Engineer Company returned to Wisconsin on Nov. 9 and 15, 2022 following a mobilization of more than 12 months in support of U.S. Northern Command. Under the direction of U.S. Northern Command and Joint Task Force North, the 229th logged more than 950,000 miles to provide detection and monitoring support to help Customs and Border Patrol agents address security challenges along the Southwest border.
