Assistant Secretary of the Army for Civil Works, Michael L. Connor, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Great Lakes and Ohio River Division Commander, Brig. Gen. Kimberly Peeples, and Supervisory Engineer and Project Manager from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Chicago District, David Bucaro, led the opening remarks for the Great Lakes Coastal Resiliency Study Signing Ceremony in Erie, PA.
During the historic event, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the eight Great Lakes states signed the watershed study cost share agreement aimed at protecting the immense economic, environmental and social value of the Great Lakes coast.
