The 3rd Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division dedicates the historical hall that sits atop of the brigade headquarters building in Quad F, Schofield Barracks, Hawaii to a fallen 3IBCT Soldier and Oahu native, SGT Alexander U. Gagalac on May 13, 2022.
SGT Alexander Gagalac served in Company D, 2nd Battalion, 27th Infantry Regiment, 3rd IBCT and was killed in action while on a patrol in Hawijah, Iraq, on Sept. 9, 2007 from wounds suffered after enemy insurgents attacked his Humvee with a rocket propelled grenade.
The SGT Alexander Gagalac Memorial Hall serves as a tangible reminder to the life and legacy he left behind.
