Brayan Macias-Ruiz, a rifleman with Golf Company, 2nd Battalion, 24th Marines, 4th Marine Division, speaks about his arduous journey of becoming a U.S. Marine, March 19, 2022 on Camp Titin, Jordan. Macias-Ruiz attempted to join the Marine Corps coming out of high school, but his citizenship status prevented him from enlisting.
