A group of eight female service members—four Soldiers from 29th Infantry Division and Task Force Spartan, three Airmen from the 386th Air Expeditionary Wing, and one Soldier from 807th Medical Command—taught two weeks of self-defense classes to more than 240 civilian women and female Soldiers in Kuwait City, Dec. 7-22, 2021.
The classes were offered as part of the "Every Soldier an Ambassador" program, which encourages interactions between deployed American Soldiers and the local civilian populace.
