Hawaii Army National Guard (HIARNG) Soldier 1st Sgt. Melvin H. Tokuda, 230th Engineer Company is celebrated for his 37 years of service, Pearl City, Hawaii, Oct. 16, 2021. Being Enlisted in the Hawaii Army National Guard since 1984, Tokuda deployed twice, Once to Iraq in 2005 and then to Kuwait in 2008. He also served as the first sergeant for multiple companies including 230th Engineers.
