Hawaii Army National Guard (HIARNG) Soldier 1st Sgt. Melvin H. Tokuda, 230th Engineer Company is celebrated for his 37 years of service with a retirement ceremony, Pearl City, Hawaii, Oct. 16, 2021. Since 1984 Tokuda has been serving in the Hawaii Army National Guard, went on two deployments and has also served as the first sergeant for multiple units including for 230th Engineers.
