U.S. Marines with Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni’s chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear defense, and station fire department personnel, neutralize a simulated CBRN threat during Exercise Active Shield at Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni, Japan, Oct.27, 2021. Due to the forward operating location of Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni, it is critical for the installation and its tenant commands to respond to potential crises on the air station.
