Brown, Company C, 18th Infantry; PVT Wilbur E. Colyer, Company A, 1st Engineers; SGT Max Thompson, Company K, 18th Infantry; and 2LT Harold B. Durham, Battery C, 6th Battalion, 15th Artillery for their conspicuous gallantry and bravery at the risk of life above and beyond the call of duty which earned them the Medal of Honor.
