The Oil Cart Trailer is a major improvement to the USAF Oil Cart used to service aircraft. The USAF removed a tow capability from Oil Cart after finding that they would fall apart during tow, leaving FOD and missing items on aircraft ramps. The trailer brings that capability back while working around not being able to modify the Oil Cart itself. Due to equipment management reasons the Oil Cart cannot be modified so it could be towed on its own. This solution has the oil cart, "live", in the trailerwhere it can be used to service aircraft as is. If for any reason the oil cart needs to be brought back to its original configuration it is simply unstrapped from the trailer and lifted out. Though this is a simple idea, it gives time back to maintainers so they can fix aircraft rather than spending their time moving equipment.
