Kosovo Force 29 (KFOR 29) Regional Command-East (RC-E) held a ceremony for the 20th anniversary of the September 11 attacks in the United States at Camp Bondsteel, Kosovo, September 11, 2021. KFOR RC-E commander U.S. Army Col. Brey Hopkins delivered a speech to the soldiers of RC-E and NATO partners in the British Army. Col. Hopkins recognized our multinational partners and their contributions and remarked upon how the events of September 11, 2001 changed the lives of both U.S. and NATO partners’ citizens.
British Army Lance Cpl. Umesh Rana played the bagpipes, and British Army Lance Cpl. Neshum Tamang played the bugle.
