U.S. Army Soldiers assigned to 1st Battalion, 214th Aviation Regiment, 12th Combat Aviation Brigade, deployed to Dalaman, Turkey Aug. 11-19, 2021, to support the nation with aerial firefighting aid. The interviews in order from first to last are Capt. Andrew Pfeiffer, CH-47 Chinook helicopter pilot and Bravo Company commander, 1-214th; Warrant Officer 2 Kenneth Goethe, CH-47 pilot assigned to Bravo Company, 1-214th; Rogers Warren, an aviation management specialist with the U.S. Forest Service- Fire and Aviation Management Office, who has been contracted to support the fire fighting efforts in the region by the U.S. Agency for International Development and also a liaison to the U.S. Army aircrew on the ground.
