This week highlighted another important week in Legion History with the end of Col. Joseph W. Worthams and Command Sgt. Maj. Maurice Golden’s command during a change of command ceremony at Fort Campbell, KY., July 14, 2021. The Legion welcomed Col. Brent Lindemen and Command Sgt. Maj. Joshua King as the new command leadership of 5th Special Forces Group (Airborne). Following the change of command, CSM Golden’s retirement took place. Col. Wortham, and CSM Golden held command of 5th SFG(A) for the last 2 years.
